Our school mission is owned and carried out by our Haitian staff.
They feed the hungry, teach the oppressed to "do right" (Isaiah 1:17), and provide leadership to our movement on the ground. This team is dedicated to making Jesus known to the students and families that we serve.
Staff Sponsorship connects you to one Haitian staff member!
all funds go towards our $29,000 staff Payroll for 2016-17 and supplements our classroom sponsorship initiative. This program is available to returning staff members who are interested in connecting in this way.
Upon starting your staff sponsorship you will receive a photo of the individual you choose to sponsor, biannual updates on their influence in our school operations, and any prayer requests they give us, to give you!
CURRENT SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES:
When setting up your Secure Give account, note the staff member you wish to sponsor in the giving details.
Gregory is the leader of our school and the driving force behind our operations in Haiti. He is a humble leader with an incredible heart for our students and staff. He works 40-50 hours per week for us, attends graduate school on the weekend, and also volunteers regularly at the orphanage we are partnered with.
Kindergarten 1 Teacher and teaching Coach
Madam Worcarline is an energetic, joy-filled teacher with a contagious smile and a deep desire to be the best teacher she can possibly be. She is a student magnet with sincere love for the little ones she serves in her classroom. She is also a student and is pursuing her teaching certificate at a nearby school in Lascahobas.
Kindergarten 2 Teacher
Madam Dieumercie is married with three children. She is a calm, even-keeled teacher with a firm foundation of truth set in God's word. We have witnessed her speak truth into parents during meetings and love her desire to encourage others, including her students. She is embarking upon her third year of teaching and influence with our students!
Gertha loves food and preparing it for others. She is a dedicated worker with a fiery personality and deep commitment to her children and grandchildren. She is growing in her faith yearly and has enjoyed partnering with our Lead Cook, Nicole. Gertha pours her heart into cooking and is an extremely hard worker.
Wisnham was one of the first people we met as we started construction on the road to our school property. Over the course of 4 years, Wisnham has proved himself to be a loyal friend, a respected man of influence in his village, and a great worker! He plays a dual role for us by overseeing our school garden and rotating as one of our night guards.
Silfise is the kind of person that you instantly fall in love with. She is patient, sweet, and caring with a generous spirit. Her brand of generosity draws you in with a smile and fills you up with shared laughter. Her role at the school isn't glorious, however, each day she completes small acts of love for our students that are an important part of our school culture.
